What brief size should I order?

Ordering your competition bikini is an exciting purchase and we know first hand just how hard choosing a bikini design and colour can be, let alone choosing your size.
We recommend ordering your bikini at around 10-12 weeks out from your competition.
Choosing your brief size can be difficult in your first prep as you truly have no idea what size your will be on stage. One thing is for certain and that is your bones are not going to shrink. Sure you might be loosing a little bit of weight but you hip bones themselves will remain the same.
The first thing you will need to do is measure yourself. Take a tape measure around your hips and make sure it is in line with where your underwear sits. Do not measure around your widest part or glutes. A measurement between 70-90cm is expected. You will then use this measurement to determine your size.
For this example let say your hips measured to 85cm. This measurement puts you right between 2 sizes! (insert panic attack) What you need to think about is how much weight are you expecting to loose? Talk to you coach, if they expect another 5-10kgs in weight loss I recommend going down to the smaller size. If you only have 2-3kgs to loose keep to the larger size.
When ordering your bikini you can opt to confirm your hip measurement at 4 weeks out form your competition. This is a service we offer to help lessen the chances of your bikini being too big come the competition day.
When this option is selected we will create your bikini briefs in the size your select at the time of ordering and then email at 4.5 weeks out from your show to obtain your current hip measurements. Once we have this measurement our dressmakers will work quickly to size your bikini. Once sized our dispatch team will lodge it for delivery.
It is recommended that you choose express shipping if you are selecting this option as we would hate for your bikini to arrive late.
